  • National Memorial Day Parade (May, begins at 2 p.m.), National Mall area on Constitution Ave.

  • Washington 4th of July Activities (Fireworks @ 9 p.m.) near the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument

Union Station's waiting area doesn't allow you to lie down or nap while waiting for your bus.

 

The White House Visitor Center is open daily 7:30 a.m. -  4:30 p.m. most holidays.
