This non-profit is a safe space where generally paid-services are available free, or a nominal reduced donation to youth, elderly,disadvantaged individuals, and general public.

 

This Was and Still Is The Vision For Charity Offered: A donation hub. Simply a way for me, Sherlene Stevens, to receive your donations of charity to distribute to those in need in a more formal/legal way,  state and federal registration. In addition, this non-profit provides services and resources to those who are transitioning into the various financial social classes to decrease culture shock.

 

Mission: A multipurpose nonprofit mission offering kindness education to the general public. Outreach resources available to youth, elderly, veterans, and other disadvantaged individuals.

Education 

  • Everyday Recycling Habits Education and Activities
  • "Be Kind" Youth and Young Adults Career Exploration Services
  • "Be Kind" Encouragement to Enrolled College students - Those who have decided to pursue a career track that "requires/demands" a college degree for such employment opportunities, or required to receive an increase in wages with their current employer, and;

Outreach

  • "Be Kind" Transportation Services - Per professional referrals, free or reduced-fee transportation services to low-income individuals on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Professional referrals accepted by government, hospital, healthcare facilities, nonprofit organizations, grocery store brands, and etc on a case-by-case basis. 
  • "Be Kind" Donation Hub - To decrease social dysfunction of wasting item products, new/gently used things--item donations hub to distribute to day care centers, schools, food pantries, homeless shelters, and nursing homes. Items that are not accepted by such organizations will be a part of the activities of the TSB Marketplace and Consignment funding.  
  • "Be Kind" Hello Neighbor All-Occasions Greeting Card Program - mailed or dropped off; 
  • "Be Kind" Reflective House Numbers Stickers Program - White-and-black street number stickers for homeowners, visible attached location on home for emergency responders and delivery persons. Example: 471 Woodside Lane - 4, 7, and 1 3" number stickers attached on home; and,
  • Housing All With Hope: Support. We accept Maryland and national announcements to share that are helping in keeping 'consistent housing" opportunities an important, highlighted, value in America.

This organization and programs strictly rely on your donations: And, the purpose for which Sherlene's A Time To Learn Academy, Inc. also known as Sherlene's Charitable Outreach (and informally ATLA, A Time To Learn) is a free-will donation program service and is organized exclusively for charitable and education within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law.
