Spring

  • Giving you time to enjoy them more, today's seasonal flowers last longer due to our warmer climate. The goal is to water them early day or late evening.  Humidity is a form of watering, avoid over watering.
  • This year, know your soil classification to avoid wasting money of your lawn decoration budget.

Summer

  • Water your lawn before 6 a.m. Never water your lawn in the heat of the day during any season.

Fall

  • What were you thinking when you planted that tree, right?!  Rake fallen leaves and place around shrubs or recycle by filling holes in your yard.
  • Gutters need care to drain water properly.
  • Mums are great for a decorative seasonal finish. Don't throw away, most will bloom again in late spring.
  • Sow grass seeds late August - September; fertilize twice a year.

Winter

  • If you can, sweep snow away from your doorway.
  • Christmas trees are plants, too. You should expect to use a gallon of water or more per week.  Two weeks of a real tree is long enough for the tree and your holiday lights.
