*In memory of my maternal grandmother (aka Momma Nora). She worked as a health-care assistant (light duty) in my hometown state--a local, Health Department, for many years, until retiring.  She was able to enjoy her retirement before becoming ill.  I hadn't participated in elder care, again, until she became ill. (I had often cared for my maternal great-grandparents, before working my first real job.) She passed away on October 1, 2016. 

 

§Errands

Available upon request or as an add-on service. Hourly rate.

 

§Veterancare

Non-medical services.

Available to all veterans and their unique 

household members: lifestyle errands care if applicable.

 


Traditional Part-time or Backup Services

  • Errands

  • Light Duty Tasks (In-home, etc.)
  • Age-Appropriate Activities (including Bible-study discussions, table prayers, etc.)
  • Case Management

Note: Each add-on will be an additional service fee--a little to no cost overall donation.

My Qualifications (Certifications and Training)

  • Child Care certifications (infants and children, Early Childhood Education)
  • On-the-job state-training hours within a formal school setting (community school settings under a board of education model)
  • Respite Care Provider certification (Eldercare)
  • OSHA Approved Cleaning certification (household and commercial)
  • Criminal Background Check if applicable (paid for by the client required)
  • Motor Vehicle Report if applicable (paid for by the client required)
  • CPR (Adult, children, and infants), AED (Adult and children), and First-Aid certification  (Adults, children and infants)
  • A former Christian lay-speaker certification and religious law/doctrines/tradition activities experience (United Methodist denomination umbrella or affiliation)
  • High school diploma
  • College-credit coursework in education, english, communication and media, sociology, psychology, and ethics
  • Bachelor's (Business Management and/or Business Management and Education)
