Children-Friendly Activity Recipe (Science, Math)
To clean food coloring from bowl and mixing sheet, place a dab of bleach with 1/4 cup of water (if necessary) and let sit for a few minutes.
Note: You can use this recipe when you don't have actual glitter for artwork. If your going to hang or store in a portfolio, be careful of rodents eating the finished design (ants, mice, etc.).
Ingredients:
1/4 c white granulated sugar
1/2 t food coloring, your choice (pastels, primary colors, etc.)
Directions:
1. Mix items together in a small bowl.
2. Spread onto a baking sheet.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
