|2 t. McCormick basil leaves
2 t. McCormick oregano leaves
1 t. McCormick garlic powder
2 t. McCormick onion powder
1 t. McCormick ground black pepper
1 boneless beef rib roast (5 to 6 lbs)
2 t. oil
1 t. salt
|1. Mix first 5 ingredients in small bowl. Set aside. Trim excess fat from top of beef, leaving a layer of fat about 1/4-in. thick. Place on rack in shallow roasting pan. Brush w. oil. Sprinkle w. salt. Coat w. seasoning mixture.
2. Roast, uncovered, in preheated 350F oven until internal temperature reaches 130F (or greater for well done, 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 hours).
3. Cover w. foil and let stand 15 min. before carving. The temperature of the meat will rise about 10 degrees during standing.
